by Rob TheakstonProducer Matthew Puffett started to record and release music -- similar in vein to the techno-soul tracks of Kirk Degiorgio and Ian O'Brien during the early '90s -- under the Future Beat Alliance moniker in 1996. Many of his early works were released on his own Void imprint, but he also issued recordings on the revered Ferox label and Italy's Archive labels during the late '90s. His debut full-length, Disconnected, was released on the Amsterdam-based Delsin label in 2000, and he has since released 12" singles on likeminded imprints Versatile, Emoticon, and Suicide Recordings. A full-length is slated to be released in early 2007.
