1974.10.12 生于德克薩斯州，Shane在2000年出過一張同名專輯《Shane McAnally》，現(xiàn)在主要從事寫歌和制作人等工作。已獲得多項格萊美獎（2014年最佳鄉(xiāng)村專輯和最佳鄉(xiāng)村歌曲）。曾為Lee Ann Womack, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, and Miranda Lambert等寫過歌，獲得鄉(xiāng)村音樂學院獎“the Songwriter of the Year in 2014”。
廣為大家熟悉的應該是Shane在07年的電影《Shelter》里奉上的六首原聲（Lie to me、More than this、I Like that……）
Shane已出柜并已結婚，目前有一個兒子和一個女兒。
