Marc Hervieux is a Canadian vocal artists most in demand on the domestic and international. A graduate of the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal, l'Atelier Lyrique de l'Opera de Montreal and the Role Preparation Advance Studio of Florida Grand Opera in Miami, he was trained by professors from prestigious singing Sylvia Saurette, Diana Soviero , Ermanno Mauro Cesar Ulloa and Gerald Martin Moore. Throughout his career, Marc was the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships, including the Bourse de la Fondation Charles-émile Gadbois, price-Diana Soviero Opera Montreal Exchange Gautier-Letourneau, and Exchange the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation for three consecutive years.
Internationally, Marc Hervieux has sung the role of Alfredo in La Traviata at the Mariinsky Theater (Kirov Opera, Russia) and for the Israel Philharmonic and the New Jersey Opera Festival. He also interpreted the Chevalier Des Grieux in Massenet's Manon at the Opéra de Malaga in Spain, in addition to inaugurate the new opera season at Bastia in Corsica. He embodied Rodolfo (La Bohème) in Metz in France, and Alfredo at the Opera de Nice. It was the distribution of the great creations Starmania Starmania Opera and Symphony, presented in Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Paris and Seoul. Marc has also performed Haydn's Die Sch?pfung with the Symphonic Orchestra in Taipei Taiwan, not to mention he was guest at a private concert in honor of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden. Finally, note that since 2006 he is part of the team from the Metropolitan Opera in New York as principal artist.
