Marius Moga's latest project, band Morandi, has become a real trend in the summer of 2005. ''Morandi'' is the association of successful song writer and composer Marius Moga (MaxiMo) and Andrei Ropcea (Randi), who is the vocal and lead member of the band. Their first single ''Love Me'' was released on the market without an actual physical image. Nobody knew that behind Morandi were Marius Moga and Andrei Ropcea. After being played over and over again on the radio, after topping first places in charts all around the country, and after the great impact that the video of the single had upon all viewers, Morandi crew decided that is was time to take it to the next level. And that is how they released the album ''Reverse''. Reverse is very interesting effect - reversed vocals - that was used almost on every track on the album that contains 11 songs, dealing with styles as disco funk, club and chill out. With the release of the Reverse album on the market came also the moment to take off the masks that metaphorically covered the faces of Marius Moga and Andrei Ropcea. And the success became even bigger. Morandi has already been nominated 3 times at the Romanian Music Awards 2005 considered being one of the best Romanian music groups at this moment. The nominations for Best Song, Best New Artist and Best Dance are a great recognition for the project Morandi. 2006 saw the release of a new Morandi's album on the market, ''Mind Fields'' that contains 20 songs. The first single ''Falling Asleep'' has been no. 1 in the Romanian Top 100 Singles Airplay for several weeks and won the MTV Romania award for the best video. The last album ''N3xt'' contains 14 songs. Morandi has also participated in Romanian National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song ''Crazy'', performed by Morandi and Wassabi.
