小約翰·施特勞斯（Johann Strauss，1825～1899），老約翰·施特勞斯長子，奧地利著名的作曲家、指揮家、小提琴家、施特勞斯家族的杰出代表。出生在維也納一個音樂世家家庭，與父親同名。被世人譽為“圓舞曲之王”。1844年組成自己的樂隊，演奏本人和父親的作品。1855-1865年應(yīng)邀在圣彼得堡指揮夏季音樂會達十年1863-1870年任皇室宮廷舞會指揮。1899年，約翰·施特勞斯逝世時，維也納人民舉行了十萬人的盛大葬禮。
