Dreams of stardom failed to become reality for Canadian quartet, Dirty Rhythm. With gutsy vocalist Jeffrey Michael Bonds set to the power-driven accompaniment of guitarist/keyboardist Brian Harron, bassist Anthony Brian Greenham and drummer Troy Miller, the group seemed to be on the verge of breaking through to the international stage. Greenham had previously played guitar on the Annihilators's 1989 album, Alice In Hell.
Recorded in Burnaby, British Columbia, Dirty Rhythm's debut album, Hard As A Rock, was produced by Loverboy guitarist Paul Dean. The first single, &Hot'N'Cold failed to sell, however, and the group disbanded.
