Northern Kings

Northern Kings并不是一支一般的樂(lè)隊(duì)，樂(lè)隊(duì)四位成員分別來(lái)自四支著名的芬蘭金屬樂(lè)隊(duì)。樂(lè)隊(duì)成員有Nightwish的Marco Hietala 、Sonata Arctica的Tony Kakko，Terasbetoni的Jarkko Ahola 以及Charon的J. Pekka Leppaluoto。

聽(tīng)Northern Kings的音樂(lè)，感覺(jué)是比較時(shí)髦的，樂(lè)團(tuán)成員四人，對(duì)于第一張專輯《Reborn》他們還是比較重視的，最起碼在音效方面和演唱方面他們有點(diǎn)大牌的感覺(jué)。

在他們的音樂(lè)中可以感覺(jué)到內(nèi)在的爆發(fā)力，而且極具典型的翻唱能力，里面的多首曲目在重新錄制的過(guò)程中相當(dāng)漂亮，而且處處都顯示出比原創(chuàng)者更優(yōu)秀的角色，使人在欣賞的過(guò)程中被他們的情感所感動(dòng)。

One of those oddities that could only come about in a culture soaked heavily in the sounds of heavy metal, Northern Kings were a symphonic power metal super group. While that may not be an oddity on its own, what made Northern Kings unique was that this was a symphonic power metal super group that did exclusively covers. And to make it even more peculiar, the band covered songs that were decidedly not metal -- Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero," "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight" by Cutting Crew, and "Brothers In Arms" by Dire Straits, to name a few. Made up of four vocalists of some of the leading names in metal -- Tony Kakko of Sonata Arctica, Marco Hietala of Nightwish, Juha Pekka Lepp?luoto of Charon, and Jarddo Ahola of Ter?sbetoni -- Northern Kings released their first single, the cover of the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome inspired Tina Turner track already mentioned, was a hit in Finland, and their debut album, Reborn, was released in October of 2007. The concept proved to be a success, as the debut full length managed a top ten placing in the Finnish charts.
