馬克·皮特里(Mark Petrie)，出生于新西蘭，畢業(yè)于美國伯克利音樂學院，一位新興的音樂創(chuàng)作家。配樂涉及的領(lǐng)域涵蓋了電影、電視、預(yù)告片、紀錄片和廣告，氣勢恢宏、震撼人心是他曲風的代名詞。
1979年，Mark Petrie出生于新西蘭奧克蘭（Auckland），1999年獲獎學金到美國伯克利音樂學院學習電影學，2004年作為Pete Carpenter助學金獲得者移居洛杉磯與電視音樂偶像Mike Post從事音樂創(chuàng)作。
過去的八年里，Mark Petrie的音樂被世界各地近50部電影收錄使用，如熱映電影《超人：鋼鐵之軀》Man of Steel (2013) ；在多倫多國際電影節(jié)上映的《家事美人》Apron Strings (2008) 。眾多電影預(yù)告片使用Mark Petrie的音樂進行制作，如《暮光之城4：破曉（下）》預(yù)告片The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Trailer(2012) 、《超凡蜘蛛俠》預(yù)告片The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer(2012) 。
除了電影方面，Mark Petrie的音樂每天也在被全世界的各類電視節(jié)目所使用。在美國，超過60檔電視節(jié)目已經(jīng)在過去的5年中使用他的音樂，如全美王牌談話節(jié)目《奧普拉脫口秀》。
在國內(nèi)，其音樂作品被做為宣傳片等的制作素材廣為使用。2013年9月5日小米手機3發(fā)布會改編并使用了Mark Petrie - New Light制作宣傳片。
Mark Petrie grew up in New Zealand and moved to the US to pursue his childhood dream of writing music for movies. He was based in Boston studying at Berklee College of Music before moving out to Los Angeles. He now composes music for a variety of projects including games, trailers, TV and film.
