Nina Hynes

1999年，出生于都柏林的Nina Hynes發(fā)布了她個(gè)人的首張專輯《Creation》，很快又去到美國(guó)開(kāi)了幾場(chǎng)演唱會(huì)來(lái)宣傳自己的新作。在這數(shù)場(chǎng)唱會(huì)上，她將美國(guó)式的另類(lèi)曲風(fēng)同自己的另類(lèi)電子SOLO結(jié)合到一起，取得了成功。在當(dāng)年Amazon.com網(wǎng)站的年度TOP 100專輯的票選評(píng)比中，《Creation》一舉取得了NO.44的成績(jī)，《HITS》雜志稱她為“2000年度最具魅力的新發(fā)現(xiàn)”，并常常被用來(lái)與其他的一些優(yōu)秀歌手如：Bjork、Cat Power以及Stereolab進(jìn)行比較，對(duì)于剛剛出道的Nina來(lái)說(shuō)，這樣的成績(jī)已屬不易。
　　事實(shí)上，Nina相當(dāng)?shù)眯疫\(yùn)。她的專輯《Staros》是在法國(guó)的Studio Black Box進(jìn)行錄制的，在錄制的過(guò)程當(dāng)中還受到了她最喜愛(ài)的一些音樂(lè)制作人的悉心幫助，其中包括The Frames。專輯中的第一首單曲“Mono Prix”則是傳奇音樂(lè)制作人Steve Osborne幫忙完成remix部分工作的，要知道Steve Osborne可是諸如New Order、Doves、U2、Placebo以及PJ Harvey等等諸多超級(jí)大牌樂(lè)隊(duì)的制作人啊～
　　08年年末，Nina受邀為一張圣誕專輯作了一首名為“An Indiecater Christmas”的圣誕歌曲，該專輯為Indiecater Records唱片公司出版發(fā)行。
Irish vocalist Nina Hynes spent two of her teenage years in Northern Ireland where she learned to play guitar and develop her voice. She then moved to France where she tested out her new-found talents by busking on the streets of Paris. Upon returning to Ireland, Hynes spent time alongside fellow struggling musicians Mundy and Paddy Casey during singer/songwriter nights at the International and ended up being picked up by local independent record label Reverb Records. Her six-song debut album Creation garnered favorable reviews in both Ireland and Europe. The time following the album's 1999 release was spent supporting touring acts such as Stereolab, Cat Power, and David Gray, as well as touring Europe with electronic composer Harold Budd.
