Justified

At age 12 Justified discovered and developed his gift of writing and began to rhyme with a local rap group out of Compton CA. called L.O.T (Leaders Of Tomorrow) which included two other artist. In 1997 Justified who was then known as JIBB started performing with his cousins and their band “MOVIN” at local night clubs and hotel lounges throughout Northern California. During that period Justified wrote and recorded a project with his cousin Myron Edwins independent production company One Four Records. While working with One Four Records Justified traveled to Cannes France, attended the MIDEM convention and was presented the opportunity to perform at a hot hip hop club and brought the house down with a performance of his single "One Four The Money" In 1999 after breaking ties with One Four Records Justified hooked up with Muaz Nuruddin and contributed to the humble beginnings of Deep In The Game Records. In 2000 Deep In The Game Records released Justified and his first professional record “The Caliway” and sparked the flame to the beginning of a hot career. While recording with Deep In The Game Records, Justified shared tracks with west coast veterans E-40, Spice-1, Kokane, Bad Azz, Above The Law, and several other independent west coast acts. In 2003 Justified decided to take the independent game back to its roots and moved his product in the streets and online in an attempt to establish true independent power. He hit the streets hard with his project “Break The Game Down” produced by accomplished producer Steve P. now known professionally as Big City, and sold several thousand copies out the trunk throughout California and around the world via the internet In 2004 Justified wrote, co-produced, and performed the soundtrack to author Linda Hudson Smiths’ novel “Ladies In Waiting”, a book that was published by B.E.T Books on the New Spirit line and republished by Kimani Press/ Harlequin. After pushing his albums “HUBLICITY” & “STILL DEEP IN THE GAME”, Justified hooked up with veteran producer and Dj King Scratch, and completed the album entitled “JUSTIFICATION.” Justified has recorded and printed 10 independent records, and has sold several thousand units without any major budget or distribution. By believing in himself and placing all his faith in God, Justified has managed to endure the many trials that come along with the business. By paying dues and staying true to the rules of the game Justified has found success in life.
