The Parisian’s interest in music started when he sung in a gospel choir at 17. Singer, guitarist and harmonicist, he has a passion for blues, jazz, rock and world music. After an education at Saint Louis Jazz School, he continued his path at Jazz School CIM and Atla School for contemporary music in Paris. Touring with Carla Bruni and being invited to various jazz and blues festivals, Charles Pasi quickly made a name for himself.
  
  Writing his own music, he attracted the attention of professional musicians and filmmakers who entrusted him to make the soundtracks for Actrices by Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi and Yann Moix’s Cineman. His first album Mainly Blue was unanimously welcomed in the musical community and made it to the final of the Memphis International Blues Challenge in February 2007.
  
  What followed was nothing short of remarkable, In 2011 Uncaged was released. The Album Uncaged is above all a multi-faceted and nuanced album, marked by insightful observations on the outside world and overtures to the other art’s with this album Charles’ voice has grown more intense, and his harmonica playing even more skilled. In parallel of his personal projects he recorded and performed with several famous artists, such as the Lucky Peterson, Keziah Jones and the legendary jazzman, Archie Shepp.
