Trin Monsta (Jason Chun Lee) is a?rap artist/producer residing from the Los Angeles, Culver City, Santa Monica, and Venice areas. At a very young age, Trin Monsta began doing shows with group "Slanted Visions," and released an independent album called "Mood Swings." The album single titled "Resemble the Art" was exclusively covered by Asian-American Hip-Hop site AZNRAPS.com. AZNRAPS.com also interviewed Trin on the front page to discuss his future moves. However, soon after the independent success of the album, the group disbanded and Trin continued on as a solo artist. At the young age of 17, Trin signed a deal with record label CATCH MUSIC GROUP, home to popular artists Far-East Movement (FM), Jin tha MC, and Monroe Street Band. While on the label CMG, Trin worked, recorded, and performed with Far-East Movement (FM) and made an appearance on FM's track "It's Time," which appeared on FM's first release the "Audiobio" Trin also opened shows for Chinese-American artist Jin tha MC while signed to the label. Trin has done a special performance for Asian-American talent showcase KOLLABORATION, headlining with rap-artist CHAN. However, after five years of having trouble releasing his album, Trin parted ways with Catch Music Group. Trin is currently in the studio recording his first solo mixtape titled "TRADEMARK," which is scheduled as an independent release the Summer of 2010, as a collaboration with street wear clothing line "Sole Contender." Aside from being a solo-artist, Trin Monsta is also a member of Hip-Hop/Electronica group "Buzzin Boyz," with artists LAzee Luu and Tim pLEase.
